Colorado police found “incendiary devices” in a Jehovah’s Witness hall after a couple was apparently murdered there on Christmas Day.
“An adult woman was shot dead by an adult man who then shot himself,” police said in a statement on Sunday.
Police in Thornton, about 10 miles north of Denver, said the two were former members of the community.

The devices at the scene were secured, police said, adding that there were no other suspects.
“No other people were injured in this incident,” the police said.
The identity of those killed would be released later by the Adams County Coroner’s Office, police added.
“This type of violence is always shocking, but especially on Christmas Day,” Thornton Mayor Jan Kulmann said in a statement on Twitter.
