HENNESSEY, Okla. — Four people were found dead and one injured following a reported hostage situation in northwestern Oklahoma, authorities said Monday.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said in a statement that the Kingfisher County Sheriff’s Office had asked for help after MPs who responded to the hostage report on Sunday evening found the four dead and one injured west of Hennessey, about 55 miles northwest of Oklahoma City.
The injured person was taken to hospital in unknown condition, according to which the deaths are being investigated as four-fold homicides.
The statement did not identify the victims or specify how they presumably died or what injuries the survivor suffered.
“There is currently no information available about suspects,” the statement said.
