If you were looking for something adorable and sweet to redirect your thoughts away from all the troubles, you came to the right place! Taiwanese artist Pin-Tsung Lin, known on Instagram as Kesanitw, creates wholesome comics featuring lovely, human-like pets. These animals are so cute you might want to hug them and never let go. At least that’s what we would like to do.
The characters in these illustrations are like little people that go on adventures, share their thoughts, get happy, get sad or fall in love.

Pin-Tsung Lin is currently a full-time creator. The artist took a master’s degree in design and technology, worked as a UI/UX designer and animator in a software company and established a video production company. “I’ve always wanted to be a full-time cartoonist since I was a kid. After trying many types of work. I still think that drawing manga is my favorite job. I also love when other people are happy because of my creations.”
Pin-Tsung Lin’s comics offer cute explanations of certain animal behaviors and show them in a quite different light. Have you ever wondered why cardboard boxes are the best beds for cats but dogs don’t seem to bother with them? Well, maybe dogs just feel lonely being alone in a box?
Who said that dogs and cats are the worst enemies? Not in these comics! In the illustrations, these two fluffy creatures don’t hate each other. On the contrary, they can be good friends and even have romantic feelings toward one another! The fact that in these comics they look like naive, child-like, living beings just gives an extra layer of cuteness that might make even the most gloomy person smile!
The artist often surfs the Internet, watches other people’s cartoons or funny animal videos or goes to the park to observe pets for inspiration for the comics.
Besides dogs and cats, the comics include other animals such as bears, guinea pigs, seals, whales, dolphins, mice and even mythical creatures like dragons. And all of them, of course, are portrayed in a cute and funny way. Even holding a gun doesn’t make them look threatening.
The artist has been focused on the production of manga-related merchandise. Several new Line stickers will be launched later. Pin-Tsung is also planning to publish a book this year. It should be available by the end of the year!
